11/26/2020 update, Thanksgiving

Posted by J. P. Edgar on November 26, 2020 at 3:00 PM

Hey everyone. How's it going?

Today is the day to be thankful, so I thought I'd share a few things I'm grateful for. I'm grateful for spellchecker because, believe it or not, I'm terrible at spelling. You want me to prove it? How about I write the rest of this without one.

Prepare for cheesy, sappyness. Because I'm also greatful for my friends, family, and you, my readers. Yes, you. Because believe it or not, you are helping me push forward on a path I never though I'd have available. Being that I can't real (I can read, but I'm truely terribnle at it), I never thought in my wildest dreams that I'd be an author. English and literature was my toughest subject in school (second by history because that's a lot of reading, too). The only way I got through english was with my writing. Maybe I could retain moore info than I thought, or perhaps I could BS my way through a paper. Still, the point remains.

How are you spending your holiday? I know this holiday doesn't extend past the United States, so maybe this post hardly makes any sense. Doesn't Canada have some sort of thanksgiving thing? I don't know. Anyway, I'm spending the holiday with my mother. She hurt her back a while ago and she's been kind of out of commission. So I've been taking care of her as best as I could, making sure her and her animals are cared for, and the house is kind of clean. And considering COVID, having a little two-person dinner isn't such a bad idea.

That being said, you can kind of see how the progress of my book three read-through is going. NOt only have I been too busy to read through the book, my work blocked google docs, which is where I store my writing. So I can't work on my writing during my lunch like i usually do. talk about q.q! However, we are moving to a "new" facility in the next week or two. I say "new" because it wasn't a freshly built building, or a once uninhabited strtucture. No, we're just taking up a corner of an office space. Personally, I'm not too happy about it. More miles to/from work. More gas. More car maintenance. More time lost in commuting. All in all, I'm just not thrilled about it.

Anyway, I need to wrap this up so I can get back to cooking. Have a happy thanksgiving. THank you for stopping by. Stay warm. Stay safe. Stay full. More ridiculousness to come,
